THE RESURRECTION

Guess who is back for real REAL? Well me silly. No really I’m rejuvenated, inspired and ready to write. Yes write. There’s so many reason I left but the truth is that I allowed my blog to become a duplicate of all the other blogs I was reading in my feeder. There was nothing different. There was no specific audience I was catering to. But that has all changed. My love for fashion hasn’t waned but I have a gift that is being underutilized.  Am I here to proclaim that I’m the bestest writer? Nope but I’m going to be the GREATEST writer here on MY blog as God deposits in me. Yep, you read that correctly! I came back because I believe I can inspire you and you and you and you with my divamom journey. It’s full of ups and downs, highs and lows, awesomeness and some not so awesome moments but today while writing in my prayer journal (I’ve rediscovered journaling again and actually using paper and pencil) that I felt so great for the awesome years I’ve lived so far.

Here’s what you can expect. Mom Monday. I’d like to showcase a fellow single divamom who is making it happen despite the tons of odds that can often times feel stacked against us. I’m working on no more than 6 questions for you to answer and then I’ll post how to go about submitting. On the Word for Wednesday, I’ll be sharing a devotional that has inspired me or a biblical word I feel my readers would connect with. I won’t be preachy (I’ll try not to be since I’m only a preacher’s kid and not actually a minister, lolol!) promise. But my faith is who I am. I wouldn’t be back here {after a year off!!} if I didn’t believe this time around God is going to bless my pen and keyboard. #prayforme WARNING: I love using hastags in everyday conversation. It will continue here. Terrific Thursday will feature blogposts that have inspired me and a sentence or two about why. I’m being led more and more to support and encourage others in their endeavors. When we do good towards and for others, we are planting seeds that will grow in our lives and bloom into opportunities and open doors for us. Finally, there will be Fashion Friday where I will post one outfit from the week or weekend if I can get my son to snap a few pictures of me again with the camera. I am considering investing in a tripod. I had one that I didn’t’ like very much. It was low budget and I didn’t use it long enough to get the hang of taking self-portraits.

I’d love to know how the above sounds to you. I know I’ve lost some readers and rightfully so I wasn’t posting. In my heart though, I know the readership will be what it is destined to become if I remain true to myself this time around and allow you to see the real divamom. Welcome back to my journey. Don’t forget I’m on Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter.

Hey LV! I find it easier to write then to take photos, edit and post them. Besides now we have Instagram. You can always keep sharing your food. That's one aspect of your blog I really enjoy!

Hello Cathy! I'm sure you're the only one who waited for me, lol but I'm truly grateful especially for our friendship offline. Thanks for being here on the new journey. Be blessed!
