Hope you are having a better day than I am. I’m wondering if it is just the students at
my school or are other educators leaving work exhausted and the school year is
less than 7 days from being over?! I have 8th graders and they have
completely shut down despite the fact that I am still prepping them with
skills, tools to navigate high school which will go by quickly as we all know.
Starts to hummmm, “Oh to be a kid again.” So this will be another quick post so
I can grab some dinner and head off to prayer before family Bible study at
church. Yes I need to pray for myself. NOT
KIDDING!
If you follow me on
Instagram I posted a photo wearing this skirt for New Years Eve and never broke it
out again. It’s all over the blogsphere. I really wanted the pants but was
never able to find them. Instead I thrifted these pants and loved them. Sunday my
niece celebrated graduating with an IB diploma with the best Jamaican buffet
and it was fantastic. I thought this skirt would be perfect for the event. I
ended up playing hostess and this look was just what a divamom needed.

While this skirt is definitely making a great statement, teachers leaving work "exhausted" is an UNDERstatement!
Ok, so it took me forever to figure out how to comment! LOL! Anywho, you look stunning my dear! Say a prayer for me too! :-)
I love this look! Good luck with the last few days of school. Thank you for all you do as an educator.

Love how you styled the skirt! And I didn't know you were on instagram. I have to find you!
I'm in love with that skirt! And your hair is growing out! Pretty!!!!
Wow! I had no idea that this print had been around since practically the beginning of the year. So I guess I'm late in saying that I found mine at Plato's (our fave spot) a couple of weeks ago. You look great too, although I don't think I'm bold enough to wear mine to work.
