in the nude

Hello divamoms & divas,

How was your weekend? Saturday night I went to a Christmas party to raise money for scholarships. No pictures. Today was church and the kid cooked a delicious pot of spaghetti, corn on the cob and garlic bread. I’m so proud to be his mom. I wore to church today. It seems the only time I can get in a blog photo shoot is after service. I wish we had more time but my life feels busier than when I as in grad school.

Please continue to pray for me regarding reenrolling. I’m still having a difficult time not being in school. Honestly, I’m been in failure mode. I really want to complete my degree. Although some of the circumstances are out of my hand, I still feel like I’ve got to find a way to make it happen when what I really need to do is focus on my immediate tasks and opportunities while allowing GOD to fulfill His promise.

In addition to allowing the hair I was born with find its way back onto my head I’ve been wearing my glasses more. I know this is your first time seeing me in them. Mostly because I don’t feel comfy in them but when I wear them folks are always complimenting me. Today in church I was pulled aside and told I look like a professor. Of course, I cheesed really hard.

Well it’s late and I’ve yet to iron for the week. Here’s to wish you a great week. Stay tuned for the 12 days of Christmas. I’ll be sharing with you 12 songs that are some of my all time favorite Christmas hits.

Air Kisses,

TWA is looking good!

You should not be be in failure mode at all! I know it's hard to understand why things happen the way they do but everything happens for a reason, even if we don't understand it at the time. I KNOW things will end up better than you expect, because He orders your steps and your path will be a glorious one! I had a hard path to BS in Management but in the end I appreciated every obstacle He put before me because it made me stronger, and allowed me to appreciate that I could purse a degree and give it my all.
